Chief Financial Officer

Description

We are looking for a professional CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER to work for our client - STARTUP located in Barcelona.

Responsibilities

Financial Information Management: Prepare detailed and structured financial reports for investors, ensuring transparency and accuracy of results after the investment round. Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, highlighting key performance metrics and progress against company objectives.

Financial Planning and Strategy: Develop and oversee long-term financial planning, aligning the company's objectives with the strategic plan approved by investors. Work with the management team to define financial KPIs and success metrics based on the commitments made in the financing round.

Cash Flow and Capital Management: Monitor and optimise cash flow, ensuring efficient management of funds and establishing strategies to improve liquidity. Plan and execute capital allocation on key projects, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic growth and sustainability objectives.

Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and supervise internal and external audits. Identify and manage financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies to ensure the stability and sustainability of the company.

Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to report on financial progress and present a clear vision to investors and stakeholders. Communicate financial results and projections in a clear and concise manner, highlighting the impact and performance of the investment round on the business.

Requirements

At least 5 years' experience in corporate finance

At least 2 years' experience in a similar role

This experience in a similar role must be in a startup.

Experience in presenting financial reports and dashboards to startup investors

Experience in managing external financial providers (accountants, tax and auditors)
